As 2020 comes to a close we reflect on the complex and challenging times we have shared, as this has been a year like no other, at least in my lifetime. A global pandemic, racial unrest, and a political scene that has created a great divide in our country. It has been a year of grief and loss, loss of loved ones, jobs, and the way things used to be.
Aquarius
This past weekend I was spending time in the mountains with two girlfriends, setting intentions and getting clear on what we desire to manifest in the new year. We were lucky enough to be there on a clear night to watch the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn. It was a beautiful ritual we shared to sit and stare at the night sky and meditate about what the possibilities could be in the dawning of Aquarius. Of course the song Aquarius by The 5th Dimension lyrics rang through my head.
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars
This is the dawning of the age of Aquarius
Harmony and understanding
Sympathy and trust abounding
No more falsehoods or derisions
Golden living dreams of visions
Mystic crystal revelation
And the mind’s true liberation

Conjunction

That’s because this Jupiter/Saturn conjunction happens at the very beginning of the progressive, human-advancing sign Aquarius.

I don’t know about you, but I am willing and ready to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with anyone to work for the best for all of us to flourish. We need each other so much right now.
In a text conversation, Phyllis also said this is a great time to get clear on your wishes. I have gotten clear that my 2021 year is going to be about health. Health in my body, mind, spirit, and relationships. What are you wishing for in the new year?
