One of my favorite things to do is to go thrift shopping, particularly when I am in Florida. The Salvation Army in Naples looks like a Nordstrom Rack here in Denver!

During my last visit to Florida, a group of friends and I spent a day thrifting. One of my many (and favorite) finds that day was a little sign that reads, “365 New days, 365 New chances.”

fresh starts

As a big fan of fresh starts and new chances, especially with my first book Oh God of Second Chances, Here I Am Again having been launched this past year, this little sign feels special for me.

I have never heard the phrasing 365 new days, 365 new chances before, yet it is so true. On every new day—within every new moment, with each next breath—we are gifted the opportunity to take another chance, perhaps doing something very small or very large differently.

As we move into this new year, what will you choose to foster?

What actions will you take to improve yourself, your relationships or your health?

What passion will you pursue to experience more joy?

What act of loving kindness will you show yourself, your loved ones or your community?

As I love to do every year, here is my annual empowerment worksheet as a gift to you, Letting Go and Letting 2023 Flow, to download for free. Letting Go and Letting 2023 Flow is designed to help you reflect on 2022 and focus on all that you’d like to create in 2023.

As you write out your worksheet, see if a word—perhaps a word that you’ll choose to return to over and over again in 2023 as sort of a light post for the year—arises for you. If so, please share it on my Empowerment Coaching Facebook page!

Moving into 2023, I think many of us are asking and hoping for fresh starts and a second, third or perhaps 25,000th chance! As I say in my book, “There is grace in all the opportunities we have to get up and do this life again, albeit a little more worn, but wiser every time”

Blessings to fresh starts, second chances and a beautiful and empowered 2023!

With love,
Christy
