“Don’t go through life. Grow through life.”
– Eric Butterworth

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of working with a group of women in the Colorado Rockies near Keystone. After a year of COVID 19 restricting in-person events, it was a joy to be in the company of these women as we finished the course I created, UPROOT.

Spring 2021 Cohort

We met virtually on Zoom each week for 15 weeks, culminating in a two-day mountain retreat where we told each other our stories and explored any unresolved issues in the root cause of conditioning we shared during UPROOT.

Using the nearby Snake River as a metaphor for the flow of life, we re-examined our values as we reveled in the wonder of the natural world and watched the sparkling water rush by. We were reminded that the river knows where it is going, and so can we.

If we just allow ourselves to remember without regret, welcome awareness and embrace the present, we will open up an inner guidance that shows us where we are going, too. It is the surrender to the flow of our lives that leads us to live our most authentic lives.

Some of the takeaways from the retreat include

  1. More self compassion
  2. Flow
  3. Connection
  4. More courage
  5. Who we surround ourselves with is important
  6. Receiving
  7. I am enough!

Below you will find information on my next UPROOT course starting in September.  I hope you will join me on this journey.

UPROOT – September 2021 Cohort

Do you have questions about life and leadership? Do you wonder what makes people happy and what success really means in relationships, families, organizations and communities? Essentially, are you looking for a greater purpose and more satisfaction in your life?

If so, it’s time for you to take time for yourself. It’s time for a transformation!

UPROOT, a 15-week course is designed to help you align your life with who you really are. This transformative process is essential to live life well—to live on purpose and with meaningful intention. Focusing on teaching “feeling” and presence and looking at ineffective thinking patterns and behaviors, you’ll identify how to become unstuck, less overwhelmed and feel joy.

Throughout this course, you’ll gain a greater understanding of who you are and how you function in the world. You’ll explore human development at multiple levels and look at how your personal, professional and spiritual sense of self impacts the context and development of your world.

Together, in individual and group sessions, you’ll explore whether your early conditioning serves you, while simultaneously uncovering the highest passion and purpose for your life. You’ll access the common root conditionings and negative repetitive patterns that may have kept you stuck in reactive and unproductive ways of being. Ultimately, you’ll tap into a firm sense of yourself as grounded, capable and creative.

The UPROOT course is designed to guide you through the self-discovery process of transformation and learning how to live life as the whole, perfect, complete, authentic you.

With UPROOT You’ll Learn:

  • To become an aware observer: You’ll identify the areas of your life that are not fully serving you, reclaiming the personal power within to live your best life.
  • To live in the present moment: You’ll become present to the thoughts of your ego and the voice of spirit to live on purpose.
  • To respond rather than react: You’ll gain skills to express authentically from your heart to live your life’s passion.
  • To be intentional: You’ll gain the confidence to achieve your desires.
